Your documents

All Markdown you paste, type or upload is processed entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. It is not transmitted to, stored on, or logged by our servers. A copy of the text you are working on may be kept in your browser's session storage so it survives an accidental reload; it is deleted when you close the tab or click Clear.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people use the site, which pages they visit and which browsers they use. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes IP addresses according to Google's privacy policy. We do not receive the contents of any document.

Advertising

We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Hosting

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Fonts

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you or your documents, there is nothing for us to export or delete. For questions, email hello@markdownbench.com.
